Hadron Production in Neutrino-Nucleon Interactions at High Energies

چکیده
The multi-particle production at high energy neutrinonucleon collisions are investigated through the analysis of the data of the experiment CERN-WA-025 at neutrino energy less than 260GeV and the experiments FNAL-616 and FNAL-701 at energy range 120-250 GeV. The general features of these experiments are used as base to build a hypothetical model that views the reaction by a Feynman diagram of two vertices. The first of which concerns the weak interaction between the neutrino and the quark constituents of the nucleon. At the second vertex, a strong color field is assumed to play the role of particle production, which depend on the momentum transferred from the first vertex. The wave function of the nucleon quarks are determined using the variation method and relevant boundary conditions are applied to calculate the deep inelastic cross sections of the virtual diagram.

Brane-Production and the Neutrino-Nucleon cross section at Ultra High Energies in Low Scale Gravity Models
The origin of the ultra high energy cosmic ray (UHECR) showers has remained as a mystery among particle physicists and astrophysicists. In low scale gravity models, where the neutrino-nucleon cross section rises to typical hadronic values at energies above 10 eV, the neutrino becomes a candidate for the primary that initiates these showers. We calculate the neutrino-nucleon cross section at ult...
متن کاملVector and Axial Nucleon Form Factors: A Duality Constrained Parameterization
We present new parameterizations of vector and axial nucleon form factors. We maintain an excellent descriptions of the form factors at low momentum transfers, where the spatial structure of the nucleon is important, and use the Nachtman scaling variable ξ to relate elastic and inelastic form factors and impose quark-hadron duality constraints at high momentum transfers where the quark structur...
متن کاملHadron Multiplicity in Semi-Inclusive Lepton-Nucleon and Lepton-Nucleus Scattering
We discuss multi-hadron production in both inelastic neutrino-nucleon interactions in the current fragmentation region and neutrino-nucleus collisions in the target fragmentation region. Our analysis, carried out within the framework of the quark-gluon string model, is mainly focused on the difference between these two processes. We show that the Q dependence of hadron multiplicity in the curre...
متن کاملCollider versus Cosmic Ray Sensitivity to Black Hole Production
In scenarios with extra dimensions and TeV-scale quantum gravity, black holes are expected to be produced copiously at center-of-mass energies above the fundamental Planck scale. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) may thus turn into a factory of black holes, at which their production and evaporation may be studied in detail. But even before the LHC starts operating, the Pierre Auger Observatory fo...
متن کاملOn the universality of cross sections of hadron -hadron(nuclei) collisions at superhigh energies
We analyze the pattern of the onset of complete absorption (the black limit) in the high energy hadron-hadron collisions. The black limit arises due to the hard and soft interaction dynamics as a function of the impact parameters b. Both hard and soft mechanisms provide universal dependence of the partial amplitude of the high energy elastic hadronhadron scattering on the impact parameter b and...
